Description
This secret recipe, composed by a Kuntanawa shaman, contains many sacred and medicinal plants from the Amazon. It carries a distinctive flavour — both pleasant and potent — along with a powerful sensation that can be felt throughout the body.
This very special Rappé from the Kuntanawa tribe in Acre, Brazil, is based on a traditional recipe that has been kept secret over time. Queen of the Forest contains the sacred Samauma tree, one of the largest and most spiritually revered trees in the Amazon.
When using this Rappé, it is said that “a connection with the spirits of the jungle and a strong focusing of the mind can be felt.” It is created with the intention to heal and cleanse through harmonising energies, thoughts, and emotions.
The key ingredient is the inclusion of Samauma ash. She is seen as the ‘Mother of all Trees’ — a protector and nurturer to all who dwell in the forest. Spiritually renowned, Samauma has long been part of indigenous rituals and myth. She is said to be the abode of powerful spirits, and is also known as the ‘Tree of Life’ and the ‘Ladder of Heaven’, bridging heaven and earth.
This medicine invites a strong spiritual connection. It works intensely on the crown chakra, opening the gateway to the astral plane. It also acts powerfully in the abdominal region, connecting us to our umbilical cord, our life force, and our ancestors — supporting healing in relationships. A deeply nurturing medicine, Queen of the Forest offers a sense of protection and reconnection when most needed.
The Kuntanawa hold a long-standing tradition in crafting and using Rappé, infusing each blend with intentions of power, healing, and cleansing. This Rappé is a fine example of that sacred lineage.
Suggested Use
Use in a quiet, grounded setting with respect for the tradition. Begin with a very small amount, especially if you are new or sensitive to tobacco. Sit upright, set an intention, and use a kuripe for self-application or receive from an experienced server using a tepi. Apply gently and remain seated for a few minutes while the body settles. Contains tobacco and nicotine unless clearly marked tobacco-free. Avoid during pregnancy, with heart or blood pressure concerns, nicotine sensitivity, or when using alcohol or other intoxicants.
