It is also used indigenously to ease flu-related issues and support digestion. Notably, it is said to have the remarkable capacity to lift one’s spirits from sadness or depression. The Kuntanawa tribesman who makes this medicine says that Yunu is often prescribed for depression, as it raises the spirit.
