Description
Heart of the Boa is a strong blend, recommended for experienced users. It is made with natural Sabiá Mapacho, ashes of the Sapota tree and a vine called ‘Heart of the Boa’. It gets its name from the heart shaped of the leaves. The vine also goes by the name of ‘Veia de Pajé’ or the ‘Shamans Vein’.
Made in the Kuntanawa tradition, this Rappé keeps at bay the negative and attracts the positive. This medicine is said to amplify one’s intention and therefore should be approached with integrity. Most of the herbal medicines that the Kuntanawa use in the creation of their Rappé are also used to make herbal baths and medicinal teas. The Shaman’s Vein is used in many ways — to attract positive energy, love, successful hunting, and to bring luck and prosperity in general.
The maker of this blend advises us to “focus the mind on the good intentions that one wants to achieve, and not call in what one doesn’t want.” It is helpful to understand the Laws of Attraction when working with this medicine. When used correctly, it offers protection against negative energy and spiritual attacks. In the words of the maker: “This is a very reserved and powerful blend. For that reason, those who use this medicine must do so with clarity and intention, in order to achieve the spiritual alchemy in a good dimension.”
It is a powerful ally for those on the spiritual path and requires discipline and strong intention. Although mostly used for its spiritual alchemy, this Rappé is also said to help regulate the heart rate, improve circulation, invigorate, energise, and relieve pain.
Suggested Use
Use in a quiet, grounded setting with respect for the tradition. Begin with a very small amount, especially if you are new or sensitive to tobacco. Sit upright, set an intention, and use a kuripe for self-application or receive from an experienced server using a tepi. Apply gently and remain seated for a few minutes while the body settles. Contains tobacco and nicotine unless clearly marked tobacco-free. Avoid during pregnancy, with heart or blood pressure concerns, nicotine sensitivity, or when using alcohol or other intoxicants.
