This is an exclusive Rappè of the Kuntanawa people. Made with organic Mói Mapacho of the region and ashes of the Sapota Tree. This Rappè gains its special character from the local herb called Apuxuri.
The Kuntanawa are extremely talented Rappè makers, and they demonstrate their mastery once again with this blend — a unique, refreshing and powerful artisanal snuff. It has been carefully crafted to be strong yet balanced — a deep medicine, gently scented with Apuxuri, giving it an uplifting freshness. Overall, a beautiful and potent offering.
Apuxuri is a traditional herbal medicine used for a wide range of ailments, from treating fever and relieving headaches to enhancing strength and vitality. In addition to its medicinal properties, it imparts a wonderful freshness and an enduring aroma to this Rappè.
This blend is prepared by a family living in the upper Juruá region — an area renowned for its Mói Mapacho, a refined and fragrant variety of Mapacho that is highly sought after.
The Apuxuri blend is excellent for refreshing the entire body, particularly the respiratory system and throat region. It is grounding yet uplifting — incredibly refreshing, with a unique and subtle vibrational quality that continues to work long after use.
Suggested Use
Use in a quiet, grounded setting with respect for the tradition. Begin with a very small amount, especially if you are new or sensitive to tobacco. Sit upright, set an intention, and use a kuripe for self-application or receive from an experienced server using a tepi. Apply gently and remain seated for a few minutes while the body settles. Contains tobacco and nicotine unless clearly marked tobacco-free. Avoid during pregnancy, with heart or blood pressure concerns, nicotine sensitivity, or when using alcohol or other intoxicants.
